Once the wing is in its new position, the remains of the root on the fuselage need to be sanded back flush. That A - B line shows where to sand to.

Okay, now I'm confused again. And where exactly is point "A"? Without a dimensional reference it's hard to locate it.

It looks to be directly above the forward edge of the lower fuselage cutout. I agree that those instructions were written by someone intimately familiar with the work which needs to be done, and who has forgotten to explain all the intermediate steps needed to get there.

Ladies and Gents,

 

sorry for resurrecting this old thread but would anyone happen to have the pic regarding the corrections that need to be made to the wing root?

As PB recently decided to change their Terms of Service the a/m pic is not available anymore.

 

So - could a kind soul repost it or forward it to me? Thanks in advance!
