Sgt.Squarehead
Cheers guys, should have the oils finished tonight which will hopefully just about leave me time for a squirt of matt varnish and a dusting of pigments tomorrow.
JOCKNEY
Oy Sarge, Just one thing, for a brand new kit it's a shame you haven't looked after it a lot better, I mean look at the rust and mud ! I'm a good mind to speak to the RSM and have you put on a charge great stuff mate cheers Pat
Sgt.Squarehead
He will like it even less when he sees it next.....The oils are 99% done (I have to do the pigments on the exhaust, then fit it and its cover before I'm completely done with them), so by my estimation I'm currently actually slightly ahead of where I expected to be at this point. Pictures are imminent.....Just waiting for stuff to dry.

TonyTiger66
That thing looks like it really means business Sarge. I wouldn't have liked to be on the wrong end of it. Great weathering, looks very tough ATB TonyT
Sgt.Squarehead
Sadly it was actually a bit of a sheep in bear's clothing.....A couple of Pz.IIs would make mincemeat out of it.
Sgt.Squarehead
My build is now complete: Just some final touching up to do tomorrow and it's off to the gallery for this one!

CliffB
I think this is the first 'Sarge build' of a braille scale AFV that I've followed and what a cracker it's turned out to be . Your weathering is particularly impressive, especially in this scale. Cliff
Dads203
A mighty fine build Sarg ... super all round fella.
Sgt.Squarehead
Cheers guys, your comments are much appreciated. I'm disappointed with the photos because they are a bit over exposed and wash out the various weathering effects.....Any advice on getting my camera settings right for use in the booth would be very welcome. PlaStix
Hi Sarge. What a superbly impressive result and your photos looks good to me. Your paintwork is utterly brilliant - especially in 1/72 - some of the best I've seen! Very well done!

badger
OKB tracks finally turned up at the weekend (serves me right for ordering obscure resin detail sets in the same Tracks and Troops order that took nearly 6 months to arrive in stock!). They look pretty good and come with sprockets (and maybe idlers - cant remember right now). Regards Ben
Will Vale
That looks really nice - I like the idea of doing enormous tanks in tiny scales. Will
