Pardubice Aviation Fair, 2016 Edition

Hello all,

I'm a bit late getting these posted. May 28 and 29 this year were the dates for the annual show at Pardubice, Czech Republic. The show is civilian and vintage in the main with a tiny bit of modern military in the mix; I went on the 28th and have these to show for it:

Pardubice is home to CLV, the air training arm of civilian military contractor LOM-Praha. CLV tends to the basic flight training of all Czech air force pilots plus pilots of some other nations. Here's some of their gear:

This is a Mráz M-1D Sokol. The Sokol was Czechoslovakia's first series produced aircraft after WWII and was designed completely in secret during the war. There are less than a handful still fying today:

The Beneš-Mráz Be-50 Beta Minor is a Czechoslovak design dating to 1935:

Nice photos! I have never seen wing tanks on an avenger before! Of course I haven't been looking very hard either. Do you have any more shots of the Hind? That looks to be an attractive paint scheme on that one.

The Hind is in the standard Czech air force scheme, which certainly is attractive. As it is standard, there's no shortage of pictures on the net of Hinds wearing it.
