DIO
There will be a lot of resin in there, as it is very different to P-51D Edited June 7, 2016 by DIO
Albeback52
Neat looking machine! Only thing better than that would be the P-51 with the R R Dart under the bonnet! Allan

However, I note that RESIN2 detail are producing a 1/32 conversion set for the Cavalier Turbo Mustang!! Now, THAT would be nicer!! Allan

I've not seen it on Red Roo site but maybe I'm not looking in the right place, I quite fancied one but there was always something more pressing, I'm getting through those now. Steve. Ed Russell
We sold all of our first batch fairly quickly. We will probably do a second batch with the 1/48 version. The limiting factor may be getting more Academy Mustangs. Send me an email to remind me to look in the archives. Just realised I put duplicate links above instead of the Sea Dart so I have edited it.
Antoine
Wasn't there a Cavalier Mustang turbine-engined on the market? I mean, different from the Dart one? From Heritage, IIRC?
Work In Progress
There can't have been: the turbine-engined Cavalier Mustang was exclusively Dart-engined. And I believe Heritage did do a 1/48 Dart-egined Cavalier Mustang III conversion. As for the non-Dart engined aeroplane you might be thinking of a the later Piper PA-48, of which the four examples had Lycoming T-55 engines. k5054nz
Oh how I'd love an Enforcer conversion. In any scale.
Ed Russell
Such things exist but I have never seen one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cavalier-Mustang-and-PA-48-Piper-Enforcer-conversion-kit-1-72-scale-Ready-Room-/371277032701 You can have a complete kit! Not that you would probably want it. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/253077-merlin-models-piper-enforcer I would rather have this one https://www.ecardmodels.com/index.php/1-35-piper-pa-48-enforcer-paper-model.html On a more positive note, here's how to make your own http://hsfeatures.com/features04/enforcerpd_1.htm
