ejboyd5
Just looked through my Ducimus copy - no picture or drawing of a 12-gun nose, but lots of info on the Turbinlite.
matti64
No Photo's that I'm aware of but a drawing is included in the Arthur Bentley set. http://www.albentley-drawings.com/drawings/douglas-boston/douglas-boston-revised-format/ I'm not sure if they were ever included in Scale Models magazine. Work In Progress
There's always the picture on Wikipedia. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:15_Douglas_Havoc_II_%2815834184391%29.jpg Also this one here which was posted on BM some time ago in this thread http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234943503-havoc-mk-iii/ Sadly it has the very tip of the nose out of frame. Courageous
What exactly are you after? I have a copy of 'Camouflage & Markings RAF Fighter Command 1936-1945' that has a couple of b/w photos of Havoc II night fighter with a 12-gun nose. I have built a 1/48 Havoc II night fighter with a 12-gun nose, and still have it, intact I think, and used the above book as reference. I can take some pics if you wish? viscount806x
Ted, the Bentley plans appeared in Scale Aviation Modeller magazine in February 2007 (Vol13 Nr.2) in 1/48 scale. A couple of elevations of the BP 12 gun nose are shown in good detail, I have the issue here but for obvious reasons, cannot post the picture on BM due to copyright. There are copies for sale in various places including Amazon and EBay. Here is a link to one: http://www.secondhandplus.co.uk/index.php?GOTO=
tempestfan
The drawings were originally printed in SMI in IIRC 1978 (June ?), but he may have refined them.

occa
Thanks^^, now I recall where I had seen photos of such AC with that nose cannon configuration, they were Bostons with red stars yes ...
Sydhuey
Yes A-20G-1 with 4 x 20mm cannon in nose and 2 x .50 in Cheek position, and not all went to USSR , most did but first user was the 3rd BG in late 1943, jamming of the 20mm and ammo supply issues (P-38 groups had priority on 20 mm ammo in New Guinea) meant the 3rd didn't like them and very quickly got -5, -10 and -15 with 6 x -50's , these were also replaced as soon as -20's became available with the Martin turret with 2 x .50's, there are photo's of the -1's with the 3rd BG with large sharks teeth and rocket tubes under the wings - something tried by the 3rd and also rejected because of excessive drag.
