bristol boy
Worth looking through these photos, great for getting weathering ideas, faded paint etc. The one of the Sunderland is excellent. There are certainly a large number of images I have not seen before. https://www.flickr.com/photos/827078...69786717/page1
Jure Miljevic
What a rich cache of colour photos! I have seen some of them before, but most of them are absolutely new to me. You are correct, those photos are great modelling and research inspiration. Thanks, Bristol boy and regards Jure
Troy Smith
Etienne is a member here, and I have been linking to his flickr on may occasions! the search on flickr is now pants, but I saved a link for Spitfires https://www.flickr.com/search/?w=8270787@N07&q=spitfire if you use this, and replace the end search with whatever key word(s) eg Hurricane https://www.flickr.com/search/?w=8270787@N07&q=hurricane Lancaster https://www.flickr.com/search/?w=8270787@N07&q=lancaster you get all the photos tagged with this. saves a lot of ploughing through. Great resource and thanks to Etienne for doing this.

cngaero
That's a fantastic set of photographs. There's an interesting sot of a Hotspur glider that may interest Tony O'Toole.

Jure Miljevic
Some of them look like stills, lifted of recently colourised black & white flicks. Vast majority looks genuine, though. Oh well, you cannot have everything. Regards Jure
JWM
A lot of very interesting photos, some of them I've seen first time. Perhaps the most surprising is that one on page 3 showing very interesing Anson trainer with non typical yellow spots on top (some cowling bulbs are yellow for instance...). That no one would guess from BW shot. Cheers J-W
DaveCromie
Hi Chris do you happen to frequent the PPrune Military forum? I have lurked there for years and saw a thread there yesterday linking to Etienne's Flickr stream and followed it to the front page - the next two hours were a blur of stunning images and modelling possibilities. I had seen individual images from this stream following many of Troy's links but never actually viewed the whole lot - so glad I have now!
