MikeGTC
Time for the next model! Started with sandingdown the mould lines. And used the body kit that came with the kit, also with the wheels I want to use. 20" BBS LM$ This one I started a few months ago, when it was still a bit to cold to paint... It was cold and I used a bit to heavy layers. So I put it back in the box until now. Went over all the parts looking for cracks in the primer. And sanded away all the damaged primer. After a new coat of primer I sanded that smooth. The colour of the Camaro will be Audi Phantom Black, same as my Mustang GT. Right now all the parts had their first colour coat. Thanks for watching! MikeGTC
Hey DWC1968, This is a verry nice kit to build, everything fit's good. Only the rear suspension is a bit strange to put together. Did some more work on the Camaro: Added the decals: Then during the clearcoat I had some airbrush trouble... And I got a bit angry and put the model down to hard and hit something... But nothing some sandpaper wont fix! Sanded a bit more after this picture, being carefull not to go trough the paint. Not 100%% perfect, but I rather not go trough the paint. Nothing to see of the damaged part on the side! And this is how the model looks now: The engine and suspension are done, just need to glue on the disc brakes. Not sure if I have to change them to fit the wheels inside the body. Don't think I can do much on the Camaro this week. Late shift at work... Thanks for watching! DWC1968
Hi Mike thats a cracking rescue on the clear coat, think that would have been a tad more damaged if it had been me. The finish is great something I struggle with usually down the one piece of dog fur that floats in. cheers Dave
MikeGTC
Thanks man! I was pretty angry when I saw that dirt in the clear Think I'll sand a bit more, see how far I can go. Mike

shood23
Agreed but for me if I had the real car it would be blacked out top to bottom and scaping the ground, just an all out sinister look to it lol Shaun
