Rodders154
The Revell 1/32 lynx is a great kit except for the main blades which bend down when on the real thing they are rigid. Does anyone know of anyone does after market one? I was thinking of drilling them out and using a metal rod to stop them drooping. I used brass tube when doing the Rotordyne but this is not an option on this kit. Any help greatly appriciated Rodders
Wafu
I've read a build thread recently (not on the site) but the guy straightened 1/35 Chinook blades by placing them in hot water for around 5 mins, then he lay them on a flat surface with a piece of ply board, looked like 12 ply, and finally added weight, a lot of weight. He left this for a couple of days before returning to it. Black Ops models do have brass wire inlays in to help maintain regidity on their 1/35 AH-6 Little Bird conversions, works really well. Good luck.
