de Havilland Aircraft Museum

F-32

Recommended Posts

I've been meaning to visit this museum for years and finally got around to it a couple of weeks ago. Small, but perfectly formed, the highlight is of course the three Mosquito aircraft, and for me the opportunity of sitting in a Sea Vixen, thus fulfilling a boyhood dream!

Nice pkccies. I was there about 18 months ago, very sorry the prototype was in bits but the rest well worth it. I also sat in the Sea Vixen, after that & a Harrier at Solent Sky, I decided an ex rugby lock forward build & being a jet jockey are mutually exclusive. :D

Steve.

Hi Reggie,

I didn't see the Otter, but they are building a new hanger and I think some aircraft are hidden away until it's completed.
