Troy Smith
Did this a few months ago for my daughter, a conversion of a of horse to a pink unicorn...I knew that cheap pot of Tamiya pink would come in handy! The horse was about 1/32nd, like a Britains farm figure. I drilled a hole in the forehead and added a shaped piece of plastic rod, used thinned plus flow improver Humbrol acrylic white as primer, then did the pink, which took a couple of coats. The mane, tail and hooves are Humbrol brass, the glitter is the stuff in tubes, added to matt varnish and brushed on, which allows the glitter pieces to be pushed around. And I actually finished it as opposed to procrastinating.. maybe the pink elephants are next... cheers T
JasonC
Ah, the old "did it for my daughter" ruse. It's alright Troy, you're among friends here. J.
Graham Boak
I did my daughter a "Sundowners" USN Phantom, because of the Top Gun character. It was actually a Matchbox F-4M, but she didn't mind and it got it out of my stash. She wasn't into pink, thankfully.

Black Knight
Very nice indeedy But is that the correct shade of pink? Is it RLM, FS or BS matched? I'm not sure pink unicorns had that shape of horn..... I'll get my coat...................... :elephant: :elephant: 1
krow113
Yes the horn shape is definitely questionable!
spruecutter96
That model of unicorn should be lime green, with a very subtle brown mottling around the rear quarters.... (Yes, I have recycled this joke from a previous thread!). What are we dealing with here?? Bloomin' amateurs! Said with tongue-very-much-in-cheek.... AngstROM
Take it from me, it's 100 per cent accurate -as anyone who uses Extra Thin Cement like emulsion paint in a warm room will tell you... 1
