Mildenhall last week - all the President's men!

As many of you will be aware, President Obama made a three day visit to London last week on what is probably his final visit as President. During that time RAF Mildenhall and RAF Northolt payed a supporting role, being the stations where the helicopters and Ospreys flew from and at Mildenhall, where the presidential motorcade arrived at and departed from. With the generally good weather, plus the bonus of having the 12 Tyndall Raptors deployed up the road at RAF Lakenheath, the bases were a magnet for spotters and photographers keen to witness the movements. Here's a few shots I took between Tuesday and Sunday.

This KC-135R, from the 916ARW at Seymour-Johnson AFB SC, is currently on Temporary Duty at Mildenhall and has been regularly flying AAR missions in support of the 48th FW F-15s and the deployed Raptors.

Thanks for looking, hope these are of interrest.
