franky boy
Hi everyone Just wondering has anyone has used these and how they sprayed? Have read mixed reports. Thanks James
Dads203
They are fantastic in my opinion, I can spray them without thinning in my trusty Iwata TR1 which has a 0.3 needle. The results speak for themselves. I'll be buying more of these paints in the future that's for sure. Dan
Bennygman
I like them. I've used them thinned with their own thinners with good results and no clogging at low pressures( I free-handed a Vietnam camo in 1/72). One thing I would say is that if you go too heavy too early you will regret it, and primer is a must. Fortunately I tend to paint with thin coats and build it up, which is what they advocate on their site, so maybe I'm just lucky this time around. To my eye the colours are excellent, though I'm no expert on that. Steve.
franky boy
Thanks for the answers Da and Steve. Great tank there Dan. Think I'll give this stuff a go. James
Texan76
You can get decent results with these paints. They are properly thinned out of the bottle. Just make sure to do thin coats and build it up. If you go too heavy and too fast, it will produce orange peel and it will crack when dry. It takes a little practice, but you can get a great finish.
