Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
I'm calling this one done. The light is fading and it's very windy outside, but I'll try to get better photos at some point in the near future.
Jusjay
Very nice. Although I didn't post I did watch this one come together and it looks great.
Darby
It's a nice build indeed. I did this one a few years ago and lost most of the tiny PE cockpit bits. It can fight you on occasion but the reward is worthwhile. What are those colourcoats paints like? I have a 1/700 Trumpy Tirpitz in the stash requiring paint and PE. Nice daffs by the way
Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
Very nice. Although I didn't post I did watch this one come together and it looks great. Thank you very much indeed! I have a 1/700 Trumpy Tirpitz in the stash requiring paint and PE. Nice daffs by the way The cockpit was indeed a right faff. If it hadn't been for the downs I would have enjoyed this one a great deal. I'm content with the outcome given the "laughs" along the way but I'll admit I had hoped for better. I'll try harder next time. As for Colourcoats - I'm not sure what to say really. I liked them enough to email White Ensign Models' director, talk to the administrators and buy them on the pretence of running a business but my wife and I both knew it was really just to safeguard a massive stash of my favourite paints. Every customer gets a free daffodil. I have some spare lining the driveway!
Duncan B
Well that turned out very nicely in the end, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh at the weekend. Duncan B
Spitfire31
The Tempest V is a funny bird, with that ugly and aggressive nose and the graceful tail. Beautiful modelling! Kind regards, Joachim
