Jinxman
hi All, Here are some of my shots from the Frisian Flag exercise at Leeuwarden Air Base - lucky with the weather and a busy event with plenty of launches, and a lovely time in Friesland. Hope you like 'em, and thanks for having a look...

Britman
Thank you for posting, very impressive. I hope the Dutch Herc's can get the colours back in their roundels. I see no reason to take the colours out of national markings as it is not exactly like the good old days of lightnings and Hunters etc. The RAF examples of pink are not going to make a jott of difference if the aircraft its on is painted by a radar miles away. Can we not take pride in letting others know who we are? The Polish and French don't seem to be bothered with this dull practice. What's wrong with the A type used on the XV squadron special or even a C type like the Italians.
Ascoteer
Interesting pylons on the Cloggie Albert. 7th photo is a Dassault Falcon operated by FR Aviation (part of the Cobham group). They act as targets and EW training support aircraft (doing what the Canberras of FRADU and 360 Sqn used to do).

Jinxman
Thanks for your kind comments - I am not sure what the benefit is these days of low visibility markings, is anyone out there familiar with the thought process that brings it into being? cheers
Snitok1983
Dassault Falcon (Mystère) 20DC from Cobham plc. V.P. Thanks a lot! I mean the specification. As i can judge - it is a sort of a jummer for the combat imitation (as the enemy )? Am i right? But why she carring a 4(!) pods?
