1/72 scale Panther Ausf G....... 'Cuckoo'

Recommended Posts

My rendition of Cuckoo is done......

For those not familiar with Cuckoo, it was a captured Panther Ausf G used by the Coldstream Guards from late '44 until Jan/Feb '45 when it was abandoned due to lack of spares.

Base model is an 1/72 scale Armourfast Panther G with scratch made detailing and zimmerit

The problem with a forum is that a 1/72 tank has the same size image as a 1/16.

So it's easy to unestimate the unbelievable detail some 1/72 models have.

Even if I had the skill to finish a model like this, I certainly don't have the eyesight.

So not only do you (and all1/72 modellers) have my admiration but also my respect.
