I'm going to make a post in the Sherman STGB thread linking us up, pretty sure some of those guys must have a Pz.IV in their stash somewhere.  :coolio:

Great idea Sarge.

Kind regards,

Stix

The kit I purchased for this possible GB from Jim @sonofjim has arrived safely today:

012CC42F-23A8-40CF-B5FF-D0E449816971

I have to say it looks rather excellent and I'm really looking forward to making it! Thank you to Jim, who I have purchased several kits from before - he is a top trader! Thank you Jim.

Right - we now only need six more people to sign up so I can start building this Pz. IV we can have another AFV GB on the modelling horizon.

Kind regards,

Stix

I'm interested, but where do I sign up?

It seems that there's a lot of topics open dealing with this.

@Antoine i kinda think you might have just done that. By expressing interest and asking is pretty much all it takes.

As Corsair said, thats all I did . Im sure Stix will pick up on your interest and add you as soon as he is able . Going to be a great GB this !

Hi Antoine - as the others said - you're here and I have added you to the list here.

Glad to have you on board.

We now only need 5 more.

Kind regards,

Stix

I'll join in please; unfortunately I have no idea about the Panzer IV kits so if someone could recommend me an accurate 1/35 Jagdpanzer IV, Hummel or Panzer IV.H / J kit I'd be grateful.

Go on then, stick my name down (after a bit of good humoured cajoling!).

Hmm, I could be tempted to build a Hummel.  But, that's a PzIII/IV chassis, like a Nashorn with a 150mm  artillery gun.

Welcome Craig, Robert and Gav. Great to have you all along.

Well we now only need two more signups for this GB to run!

Kind regards,

DON'T MAKE THIS ONE!

It's a rubbish kit, with awful fits, lots of mistakes, badly proportioned figures and the plastic disintegrates as soon as it's been painted with enamels, or acrylics. Plus if you look it's got too many wheels, more than a Pz III or IV.

Rearguards,

Badder (Who will be building this very kit and doesn't want a rival!)

Ok I guess i won’t be doing a Tamiya Nashorn 😉. Im actually thinking of the Möbelwagen. But i am partial to StuH’s and JagdPanzer IV/70’s so thats what i will most likely do one of them. Then again the early Mk. IV’s with the short gun kinda looks good especially the Flame thrower tank.

Decisions ... Decisions.

Oh, go then. Put me on the list too.

Happy to have the honour of making-up the number.

Dave.

Good man Dave - that makes you the hero of the hour!

We now have enough members signed up to get this STGB on the GB calendar. I will contact Enzo to ask him for the next available dates this GB will run. Please be advised it won't be for a while yet - but that will give us all time to chose the kit we want to build and change our minds several times over.

Hopefully V-P will be along in the near future to update the first post's list and title to indicate this GB is a go. My list of members taking part can be found here.

Kind regards,

Stix
