A new Ukrainian start-up, Wingsy Kits (http://www.wingsykits.com/), is to release a new tool injected plastic with PE 1/48th Mitsubishi A5M2b "Claude" (late version) kit - ref.D5-01

There's a similar project by Fine Molds for July 2016:

Excellent news.....Isn't her one of the most beautiful planes ever made...???

I must admit I've got something about radial engined, spatted undercarriage planes......

Very excited about this release. I have the CA A5M4. Paid 50 usd on ebay about 5 years ago. It is getting somewhat long in the tooth though.

The FM kits are nice, but lacking cockpit detail. This kit looks much better IMHO.

All variants of painting and markings confirmed historical photos. We express our Deep Gratitude to our Friends - 飛口貴樹 (Takaki Higuchi) and Sergey Dulenko, for their help in the work on the reconstruction of these variants!
