Chris B
Afternoon all A straightforward build although having also built 2 Mark IVs, a Tadpole and a Mark V (all Takom) I'm getting used to avoiding such minor problems as can crop up. Only needed a trace of 'greenstuff' on a top corner of 1 of the sponsons with this one. I didn't replace the cab with the corrected Mr Modellbau offering. The cost (with postage and possible VAT and GPO handling charge) could have been about 1/3 as much as I paid for the kit. Colours/camo is my take on the modified/simplified Solomon scheme applied when the tanks entered service in mid to late 1916. I was tempted to heavily muddy up to about the top of the sponsons as per a couple of photos I saw but rather liked the camo scheme so only lightly weathered as if pre operational. Most of the top was left in grey as thought likely by discussion on the Landships 11 forum. Chris
