1/72 No.59 Sqn Liberator GR V

Recommended Posts

I made this Liberator in memorial of a friend's dad who flew Liberators GR V serial FL976 with RAF No. 59 Squadron during WWII.

Construction is from scratch using clear pine and hand tools. Paint is from Tamiya and Krylon with decals printer on my HP using Testor decal film.

Hi Lou,

you quite casually mention pine and hand tools... as if it were the every day diet of most modelers.

Your work is fantastic and the B-24 that came out of your hard work is nothing short of phenomenal! I am really in awe of your abilities!

You are in a class of your own, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise!!!

Congratulations!

JR

Beautiful Liberator! I've said it before, but I'll repeat it here - I love the Liberator in the Coastal Command scheme and you've done it real justice!

Regards,

Jason
