Flankerman
The new kit from the Ukrainian firm of Modelsvit - a Soviet Tu-91 turboprop ground attack aircraft, cancelled on the whim of Nikita Kruschev....Not the easiest of kits to put together - especially the undernose glazing - but an interesting model of an unusual Soviet design.More power to Modelsvit for producing kits of these off-beat designs.... Some more photos of the finished model - plus WIP photos here.Another photo showing it next to my Tu-4/Tu-91 engine testbed....Happy ModellingKen
Meatbox8
That's a great rendition of this fascinating aircraft. Looks great next to the TU4 test bed. I wasn't aware of this aeroplane until Modelsvit produced this kit. Presumably the prop shaft ran through the cockpit a la P-39.
Duncan B
As you say hats off to Modelsvit for producing it and to yourself for making such a good job of it. Great to see it with it's flying test-bed too. Duncan B
Radleigh
Superb Ken, I've still not got one... I need to sort that out. I should be at the Avon show this year, so will see them then, unless you're doing Cosford..?
