Polikarpov i 16 type 24 - ICM 1/72

Recommended Posts

Well, its a bit of both. The engine is quite detailed, and the way it "closes" its really easy to image an open engine scene. So i just put some more wires and some details in there to "fill" it up, then some painting/oils/pigments...

Then painted and weather all the plane with the doors closed (just some tamiya tape on the inside)...to remove them in the end, for an exposed engine. Its a good kit from ICM, some minor flash, nothing more.

Thanks for the cumpliment!

Thank you very much guys!

Its really a small little fellow...about 6/7 cm from propeler to tail. Really enjoy it...i just added some details in the engine, the metal ring in the cowling, and the wires in the wheels...
I weather it a bit more, because most of the old photos show it as a real work mule .
