Hi all,

Posted my Snowspeeder earlier and it was quite a painless experience so thought I would post this. I'm new to the hobby and still learning but this is probably my favourite build so far. It was painted with Vallejo paints and weathered with acrylics as the Bandai plastic does not like oils and enamels. However oils were used to create the rust stains. Hope you like!

looks like the rebels are about to win! great job! That blaster damage leaves me hurting!

Very similar to mine with the rust weathering.

The battle damage looks great.

Thanks guys, I'm loving a bit of positive feedback, my wife is never as enthusiastic haha!

I have just seen your Hoth diorama Deadman, it looks great. I would love to set my models in a diorama but just don't have the skills. That should be my next challenge. What did you use for the snow??

What did you use for the snow??

Hairspray onto the base & sprinkled baking soda on top of that in layers, then let it settle for a few mins.

Then sprayed the hairspray very gently on top of the snow to seal it.

That was only my 2nd diorama.

Well for your second go at it it's fantastic, much better than the bases Bandai supply! Maybe on my next model I will give it a go.
