1/72 Gloster Gladiator Mk.II, Sword + Eduard+Northstarmodels

Recommended Posts

Good day, gentlemen!

This is just my next model of legendary Gladiator. But it is not Airfix "new tool", this is Czech kit producer - "Sword". Plus I used etched details set from "Eduard" and chassis from not so famous "Northstarmodels".

Rigging made from a nylon thread. Wing drilled through, and the holes on the wing smeared.

BTW, what did you use for the forward cowling?

Cowling is painted by Alclad metallic (copper). Then littlebit X-19 Tamiya with one drop of engine manifold color.

That is really nice - excellent detail and very nice rigging. It took me a while to find those wheels on a real one but I did

They look as though they were borrowed from a Toyota

I can't find a contemporary WW2 picture.

I'd go for a bit more grey in your collector ring mix

but that's a small criticism of an excellent model

Thank you very much, sir. Honestly, I just blindly trust the guys from North Star models. But for the same truth, I must say that in the set were solid caps too. I understood that the caps put on the wheels.
