Airfix USAAF 8th Air Force Bomber re-supply Set - Any UK Use/Conversion possibilities?

As primarily a modeller of UK forces, I wondered if anyone knew of examples of any of these being used by UK services?

Also, any conversion possibilities into vehicles used by British forces?

I'm hoping for a hardtop conversion for the tanker cab, so I can build a post-war civvie one to go with a big Douglas prop job.

Just a point, If you look at the number plate of the vehicle in the link that's an Indian Air Force vehicle not RAF.

IAF vehicles were purchased by the Indian government, not the British.
