New Product Idea For Zvezda

Hey guys and gals,

I think Zvezda should get into the replacement engine market.

Think of how many (older) kits could benefit from a correctly designed and sculpted engines with a proper part break down like they are so good at.

My thought process was similar to the AFV market when those manufactures produce replacement tracks that will fit other kits.

if they'd make the Pratt n Whitney R-985 Wasp Junior, as used in the Beaver, Goose, Staggerwing etc, in 1/72 scale, I'd order loads!

Many of them come in several scales, though sadly not the R-985, which is only 1/48...

yeah I tried 'em but, as you say, only in 1/48th scale, where I need 1/72nd.

Hi Ryan,

Yes this would be a good idea but they could start by including flight crew for their 'ultimate' kits. It doesn't make sense to me that they include a full, detailed flightdeck and the option to model the aircraft in flight or landing and there's nobody at the controls! Also some cabin crew and passengers wouldn't go amiss either to stand by the open door option. Yes I know there are Preiser figures available but they're hard to find and not exactly cheap. Most of the other figures out there require a bit of modification to fit on the flightdeck.
