PatW
This is my second try at a diorama, so it may not be up to the superb standards of others on here. It's a Scale Production (Germany) two part resin kit, ( one of a few they do, plus numerous resin and white metal accessories) so I have added the window 'glass' and shutters, a tiled forecourt, a water downpipe and drain, and some sand and moss to complete the scene. I have painted all areas and rubbed back most of them to get the worn look. It predicts a Backstreet Garage somewhere in a run down 'old town' area somewhere in Europe from France onwards. Althought it is lets say France I have added an American shop truck. Edited February 11, 2016 by PatW
Badder
Pretty good diorama if you ask me. My brother has a real truck similar to that, and exactly the same colour.... having said that, I THOUGHT it was that colour, but it's not. It's even worse! Regards. PatW
Cheers Badder, the truck was an 'already started' on ebay and most of it was missing, but all I wanted was the body. So everything else was plasticard sheet, shortened bed, scatchbuilt wheel tubs, grill, headlights and wheels/tyres and interior from the spares bin. And the dio was enjoyable to build as well. Badder
I think the best photo is the one with the shadow cast by the wall. It makes the whole scene look real. Your brickwork is great btw. Badder. Edited February 11, 2016 by Badder
PatW
Yes Badder, just as I'd finished the staged pics the sun came very bright into the kitchen, so I moved the diorama around to get the sun in the right place!
