Beautiful build Chris, a tiny ship in reality though. The crew must have had big brass one's to sail into a Norwegian fjord and place explosive charges right under the "Queen of the North's" bottom so to speak :coolio:

Thank you Chris :goodjob:

Your forgiven  I just don't understand why people spend hours on creating a masterpiece and don't put any effort into taking pics to show the end result.

The X-craft looks like a great kit and with the research available you've recreated a piece of history

Nice one

Cheers Darby the tortoise is 1/1 or 1/10 for a giant depending on the breed LOL

Many thanks Kev, Glad you like the indoor photos, still getting used to sony camera on phone, seems to take better photos in daylight, its probably the operator LOL

Thanks Beefy and Gremlin for the kind comments.

All the best Chris

Very nice Chris, like the build, like the figures, there's a glimpse of an interior, is there much inside? I don't remember a WIP.

And of course as soon as I say that, I look at the first pic again and see the link! Doh!

Very nice result indeed!! Love it!

On the subject of pics - I use a light-tent (folding one - amazon - about £15 I think) - with a good strong light and a reflector on other side (saves having to buy two decent lights) - gives nice diffuse light - also if your camera can bracket the shots try and do +/- EV of 1 either way - then pic the best shot - also shoot with timer so you do not get camera jitter hands (as I do now I am decrepit) ;-)

This link explains WAY better than I can...

Hope it helps!

Cheers Pete, saw the link yesterday on light tents, bought one of the these, was a lot cheaper than the 90cm box tent..

as its for occasional use, folds away nicely.

All the best Chris
