God bless Amodel for their continued dedication to Russian aircraft. I just wish they'd cut a brand-new tool for their I-16 type 5, and do a type 10 at the same time. And release a new Yak-9D, too.

Great to see a Mallow in there at last....if it's anything like the 1/144th kit it'll be superb. Good news for us Soviet fans.

If it's like the Be-12 in 1/72nd, we're in for a proper treat! I should stop mucking about with big German gliders and get it done!, it looks stunning built up too..

Interesting, I gave up a while ago looking for a Be-10... not seen one for sale, ever. In fact in the 10+ years of wanting one, I've only seen Kens one, once. Very excited about this release.

A Be-10 Mallow! Urrah! That and a Wal - two of my favourite flying boats. But I already have a built-up HUMA Wal. Now an IM Mallow - that is one I've been wanting for a very long time indeed! It is a great time to be a Soviet modeller (by that I mean that we model Soviet items, of course, not that we're modellers who happen to be Bolsheviks, although I have my doubts about the General, or should I say Comrade Melchett, although actually, now that I think about it, I do rather like Soviet propaganda posters...). Anyhoo, woo-hoo! I love you, Amodel!

Regards,

Jason

I wish they'd shrink their Bristol Brabazon down to 1/144th and do the whole kit in injection plastic.

Keep wishing!, I've been wishing for 10 years for an injection plastic Be-10, Looks like I'm getting one now!

Let's see, in the last year or so, we've had, all in the one true scale (1/72nd for you heathens), a Be-6 Madge, a Be-12 Mail, and now a Be-10 Mallow. We've also had a Blinder, a TB-1 is soon to be ready, and a TB-3 should also soon be ready (it looks to be a re-pop of the ICM kit, but it includes the version with the two MV-3 turrets in the fuselage, so I am well and truly chuffed). I'm certain there are other fascinating Soviet subjects that have been kitted recently that I'm forgetting. Great times indeed for us Soviet modellers. Great Bog in Heaven bless Amodel/Avis/Micromir/Modelsvit (and KP, and Prop&Jet, and Zvezda etc.)! They are making me a poorer man but a richer modeller.

Regards,

Jason

Very true Jason, add to that the Avis Korshun La-200, (and upcoming A and B versions), the MV E-150, (and future Ye-152's, in fact all the Soviet experimentals announced), MV's magnificent Bartini VVA-14, future release Tu-14 Bosun, (means I can finally dump the old Red Hurricane thingy) and we are seeing quality models of aircraft I never dreamt would be see in kit form. My preferred scale of 1/48th has hardly been lacking either what with the sublime AMK MiG-31 and future Foxbats, (not forgetting ICM's RBT variant), Trumpy's lovely Su-9 and Su-11's and several other Sukhoi's and MiG's announced things have never been better. I know we are never happy but I really hope XT Models manage to release their 1/48th Yak-28P Firebar and other in the series, Brewer please !...

And to prove I'm not a Bolshevik infiltrator Jason....great to see the Jetstream T.1, 2 and 3 in there too

Too right, your Generalship! I already have the Avis La-200, and await its beautiful derivatives with great anticipation. I also have the (Y)E-150, and look forward to adding the (Y)E-152 to my ever-growing stash of post-war Soviet subjects. I pretty much have everything that flew with the Red Star during the GPW, so it's off to the post-war for me, both in my writing and my modelling, which go hand-in-hand. Regarding the Bolshevism, General, glad to hear that, and I might add that I'm not above suspicion myself, as I often march around my house wearing my ushanka cap with the Guards badge, listening to the Soviet National Anthem. Also, during my drinking days, I do remember that Stolichnaya Peperskaya Vodka (pepper-flavoured vodka) made a smashing Bloody Mary, and after a few of those you couldn't b****y well stand up!

Bestest,

Comrade Marshall (oh, what a giveaway!) Zhukov Jason

Huh.... I need to take 3 months off from my work. Too many business jets - and I already wanted at least Starship, Avanti, Learjet. Now Falcon! And Adam is interesting too. And 1/144 Caravelle to go with Comet. I definitely need to devote more time to the hobby :)

They seem to be making all the Falcon aircraft apart from the 20, which is a pity. Perhaps next year.

Missing quite a few, the Falcon 900, 2000, 5X, 7X, 8X... I'm sure in good time we will have them, including the Falcon 30 prototype too.
