Tango 1
Hello! Here is my latest completed build. This is the limited edition boxing of the 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109 G-10. I had wanted a 109 in the markings of "Rita" of 2./JG300 for a long, long time. I owe my mate Frank big time for finding this kit for me! The model has been helped along with some etched brass and some home made details, but its mostly Hasegawa and I must say this kit was a real pleasure to work with. WIP posts more details and photo's can be found on my blog. For now I'll shut up and show you some photo's! Here is "Rita" as she was in 1944: Here is my model! As always, comments good or bad are welcome.

Tango 1
Hello Tango, WOW ! That is one IMPRESSIVE Bf 109.. A BEAUTY.. BRAVO on a super build. Many, many thanks! Very nice.............Who was Rita? Red 2 was flown by Feldwebel Eberhard Gzik of 2./JG 300 based in Borkheide, Germany during 1944. As far as I can tell, Rita was the name of his sweetheart. Sorry I can't offer a better explanation than that. Edited February 3, 2016 by Tango

Winenut
I think one of the mottles was in slightly the wrong position.... Awesome build....wish that one was in my cabinet of glory! Cheers
Spitfire31
That's a fab '09 – museum quality with that hard-to-attain 'right' look! One minor observation – I believe that the wooden Morane antenna under the port wing was just clear varnished, not painted. http://www.ipmsstockholm.se/home/messerschmitt-bf-109g-10-in-detail/ , last phot but one. Pro modelling standard! Kind regards, Joachim

Duncan B
Wonderful modelling and really good to see the Hasegawa kit built up now that Revell have moved in on it's market. Duncan B
Tango 1
Many thanks Duncan! I have the Revell G-10 in my stash for a future build but I suspect I will favour the Hasegawa model.
