rholland
There appears to be a misident in the Wellington schemes - L7818 should be 75(NZ) Sqn, not 37 Sqn (which was not an NZ sqn)? Richard in NZ
stevehnz
Just what I was about to say. Is this kit a new tool like their Sunderland & Stirling or a re-issue of a previous kit? Steve. Edited July 2, 2016 by stevehnz

stevehnz
Thanks, not sure how the SH kit reviews but would be keen to have one of these for the 75 sqn markings. Steve.
John
MPM rather than Special Hobby. It is, shall we say, an "interesting" build. J
thepureness
Review have a boxing of the same wellington kit but in a mark II. Here is some further details of that kit http://www.model-making.eu/products/Vickers-Wellington-Mk.II.html And the MPM MK Ic http://www.model-making.eu/products/Vickers-Wellington.html as with your limited run kits, it does require some work and the lack of locator pins wont be for everyone. stevehnz
Some interesting reviews out there, thanks for the info. It'll be interesting to see how Italeri price it, still think I'll have one. Steve.

I would still recommend the trumpeter kit over it though
Billydick
Thought the Cessna maybe a re-pop of the Minicraft kit, but it doesn't appear to be. BillyD
Wez
Thought the Cessna maybe a re-pop of the Minicraft kit, but it doesn't appear to be. BillyD IIRC, ESCI did some civilian aircraft in 1/48th, could be on of those... ...yup, just googled it and came up with this https://www.scalemates.com/kits/134986-esci-ertl-4064-cessna-172-skyhawk
John
Some interesting reviews out there, thanks for the info. It'll be interesting to see how Italeri price it, still think I'll have one. Steve. I just about managed to wrestle one together when it originally came out, about 2004? The problems aren't so much to do with the short-run nature of the kit, more that in some areas it's badly designed. It's also a bit funny-looking at the front. I can't quite put my finger on it but I think the nose is a bit too shallow. I'd take the Trumpeter kit over this one any day of the week. Note that it was also boxed by Airfix a few years ago: http://www.super-hobby.co.uk/zdjecia/5/1/6/1427_rd.jpg John
Albeback52
MPM rather than Special Hobby. It is, shall we say, an "interesting" build. J But not half as interesting as the Hudson!! Allan
John
But not half as interesting as the Hudson!! Allan Apparently not. I read a build review of the Hudson by (I think) John McIllmurray and decided that life was too short. John
