Paolo6691
Hello, I would like to post a picture of my latest finished model, an Airfix Mustang IVa with Freightdog slatted oil cooler. The picture is not the best but it is the best for the moment. From the few pictures I saw the plane look quite dirty on the lower surface so I tried to replicate it. There is a wonderful website about the 3rd sqn RAAF with pictures of "Anita" http://www.3squadron.org.au/subpages/Mustangs/3%20Sqn%20P-51K%20P4.htm Cheers Paolo

Learstang
Very nice! I've always thought that the Mustang looked better camouflaged than in NMF. Regards, Jason
GDumbrell
A Mustang in Aussie markings is different and quite refreshing. Nicely done. Seem to remember a real mustang being painted up like this that flies 'down under' in the 90's
SimonL
Still does, see http://www.mustangsmustangs.com/p-51/survivors/serial/A68-105and http://www.ausairpower.net/APA-RAAF-Historical.html The 1:32 scale Dragon Mustang came with the markings for this "war bird" (well at least it did here in Australia) - I have one in my stash.
