After the Super Etendard (http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234993552-148-amd-ba-super-etendard-by-kitty-hawk-box-artcads-release-1q2016/) it seems that Kitty Hawk is also working on a 1/48th AMD-BA Etendard IVM/P kit.

To be followed.

Thanks Laurent (http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234993552-148-amd-ba-super-etendard-by-kitty-hawk-box-artcads-release-1q2016/?p=2230674)!

This is the Etendard IVM/P engine, not the Super Etendard engine (ATAR 8K50). This means that KH is also working on an Etendard. The fin leading edge pitot of the CAD already suggested this.

Just finished the First Issue of the Kittyhawk Etendard and it was a really nice kit, I now see why they broke down the fuselage the way they have so this version could be built

I've just noticed how the boxart changed. The initial one has 600L wing tanks.

... but they've were deleted, outer wing station with rocket pods we added...

I guess they did so because the initial box art didn't reflect the actual content of the kit. Problem: Etendard IVs barely ever flew without 600L wing tanks and the kit doesn't include them. Raid on the spare box will be necessary.

Same seat as the Super Etendard kit. It was wrong for the SUE (Martin Baker CM6)  and it's always wrong for the Etendard IV P/M (Martin Baker CM 4).

Nevertheless, the kit seat is perfect for a French Mirage F-1C or Jaguar.

:banghead: strange decisions by the KH management....  but the modeler will overcome these issues... (or not  :( )

As I recall it the original KittyHawk SuE/SEM was a strange mix of SuE, SEM and IVP/M parts (stabs/wings/ etc) making it just about impossible to build a true vanilla SuE or SEM OOB. Can anyone tell if the IVP/M-boxing contains the parts to build a IVP or IVM OOB or are the parts mixed up again?

Thanks

Now available from Hannants https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/KH80137

£43.99 plus P&P wow someones taking the 'michael' here especially as the Super E was 'only' £29.99 - cant all be down to brexit.

Oh well another one that I will not be buying unless considerably cheaper from other sellers or in the sales as time goes by.

Not just Kitty Hawk several manufactures or importers seem to be doing the same and loosing my business in the process.
