AndrewE
Here is my latest Wingnut Wings kit. Apart from replacing the anemometer with one from Gaspatch models and using some of their turnbuckles it is pretty well straight out of the box. Rigged with fishing line and painted with Tamiya and Misterkit paints. More build photos are here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234994271-wingnut-wings-albatros-dv-final-build-for-2015/

Low flyer
Brilliant job, please tell me that is a wooden prop!
AndrewE
Brilliant job, please tell me that is a wooden prop! Thanks but it is just paint. Tamiya XF-59 and Polyscale Nato Tri Brown with burnt Sienna oil paint on top to create the grain effect. Quite effective I think.
Spitfire31
That's what's usually called 'museum quality', isn't it? Awesome build and finishing. Kind regards, Joachim
Mmarchal
Perfect model. I am finishing my Pfalz and used the WNW anemometer, the one you used looks way better. Weathering is very convincing. Very well done.

Robin-42
Very nice. What's the gizmo on the cockpit combing? Rear view mirror?

AndrewE
Very nice. What's the gizmo on the cockpit combing? Rear view mirror? Correct, it is a (not very shiny ) mirror. I may have to give it another go and maybe glue some silver foil onto it to make it more convincing.
Airgunner
Beautiful work Andrew. I would love to have a go at a WWI subject, but quite frankly, they scare me!
Brandy
Very nicely done indeed, she's gorgeous! @airgunner - go for it, nothing to be scared of. Start with something like a Fokker D.VII or DR.I with very little rigging and you'll soon be hooked! Ian
Robin-42
Beautiful work Andrew. I would love to have a go at a WWI subject, but quite frankly, they scare me! WnW Junkers J1. No rigging. It will hook you in however.
