Breaker
Has the Trumpeter wing been used? Looking at the bottom of mine and the one shown in photos, they're identical, including rivet detail/placement and sink marks where the two wing halves join. Breaker
This has been bothering me, so I started looking hard at the pictures provided and the completed kit I've built myself. I believe that someone has used the Trumpeter kit and then modified it. The layout of the panel lines and the sink marks are identical, the rivet layout is the same. Slightl adjustment to the area below the exhausts. There are clearly new parts added, the 4 blade prop for example but the base kit is very much the Trumpeter one. Don't think it should be 'marketed' as a new model when it's not.
SeaVenom
I thought it looked like the Trumpy kit too. Mind you I don't actually mind the Trumpy kit despite it's inaccuracies. I don't think it's one of their worst even if it should have been better.
NAVY870
I'd like to know the kits pedigree, if its anything to do with the Trumpeter thing I'll keep 647 out of it. Edited January 4, 2016 by NAVY870
