Seen this here: http://www.master194.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=91014 Indded he was wrong about a new "1/72 Mig-23S", so maybe no new weapons for this Su-34, I'll edit my original post. PhantomBigStu
was excited when I saw the title, thought it would have be a new tool like the su27

bentwaters81tfw
Still got my original release, but I want it in 1/48.
niki
It may still be a new tool since the Italeri/ Revell tooling is already being packed in box 7250 "Su-32FN" for some years now. Of course, that's no guarantee whatsoever...
Flankerman
The box art shows a recent Su-34 - complete with upper wing fences, a Platan targeting system and an APU in the tailboom. The Italeri kit has none of the above and needs considerable work to turn it into an up to date Su-34...... .... as I have done here. It would be nice if it were a new tool - or even if Zvezda had done the updates - but I'm not holding my breath. Ken

bentwaters81tfw
Patience and advancing years do not necessarily make good bedfellows.
AlCZ
Still old Italeri "Platypus" - why Zvezda don´t release a new kit from new tool ?
Flankerman
Or at least be honest and not show something on the box art that cannot be made from the contents. Misrepresentation. Ken

Geoff_B
Is it just a re-boxing with the new decals and colour scheme to cash in on the cuurent air ops in Syria. Ken will have to work on them to produce a new tool version
PhantomBigStu
Has this been released yet? Seen no evidence of its existence
stevehnz
Pretty sure I've seen these on eBay, not realising they were the Italeri ones reboxed. I've not seen this thread before & thought I might be looking at something better, alas. Steve.

Flankerman
If the Trumpeter Su-34 is a scaled down HobbyBoss kit, you might be better off getting the Italeri/Zvezda kit..... Or...... wait until someone does a replacement resin nose...... Ken
