So here we go, fresh from building 'La Seine' it's time to get cracking with the Joan.

Just waiting for the glue on the hull to set before I look at how many gaps there are. I'm also trying to find the charger cable for one of the old cameras so this should be the last awful photo of mine you see.

The kit includes the resin? Nice looking helos, is this L'Arsenal stuff that Heller have struck a deal on?

It included the resin and the Photo etch, not sure if it's L'arsenal though.

A little more done on her this afternoon. The hull is all glued up and filled, and the fo'c'sle and stern are now in place. There's a slight warp on the right half of the hull so there's a lot of superglue holding it in place. Hopefully I should get all the fiddly bits painted and glued onto them before putting the upper deck down tonight.

indeed ,this is not L'arsenal that have work with Heller for this model . "La Jeanne" is a ship much importante for the "marine National" it formed the officers during many years.

In my family we are seafaring father to son and in my case from father to daughter for Louis XIV.

My brother and I had the privilege of serving this proud ship in the 70s and that in some years of interval.

It is with great pleasure that this assembly will follow.
