Not being a AFV builder I only did this lot to go with my 1.72 aircraft. Follow Me Jeep and trailer included with the 1.72 Academy P-51 kit. I used chequered decals to complete the model, the kit instructions advise o/d. The picture puts the tiny model under the microscope, I can see all the tiny mistakes now. The old Matchbox Tank Transporter kit, perhaps not exactly a USAAF ground vehicle in this exact form but I have seen pictures of both the Diamond 8 and trailer in use by the USAAF. I was very happy to hear the announcement of the new Airfix 8th Air Force vehicles set and hope it sells well, maybe then we will get more ground vehicles.
