Creepy Pete
Hello, Here's my just finished 1/72 Italeri B-58 Hustler. It's completely OOB, in markings of a 305th BW plane. Mostly Alclad Polished Aluminium and ModelMaster Metallizers were used, with some Revell and Italeri paints. The kit is not without its faults, but still looks nice when done. NMF is a pain to photograph, so please excuse me for the less than perfect pics. Thanks for looking. Pete

doozer1974
Now that is a beautiful metal finish! I know what you mean about the photos, I struggled to get a shot of the Lightning i posted yesterday that showed the finish anywhere near as nice as it looks to the naked eye. But that looks tip top to me.
PhantomBigStu
fantastic, one I'd love to be able to do, but the idea of getting every other panel a different metallic shade is a nightmare, not least doing it so well as you have
George Norman
did you gloss over the BMF in the end cause it looks fab?

Mario
Hi Pete! A great looking B-58 you have built there. The NMF looks superb. Also have the Hustler in the collection and coincidentially started to refurbish it some days ago to post on BM soon. My kit is from a previous release and doesn´t have the nice decal sheet for all the record setting machines. But have also the new version in the stash. I really like the kit especially if you take into consideration how old it is! Cheers, Mario

Knight_Flyer
Awesome model. Actually nmf isn't too much of a pain to photograph and I can clearly see as have others, you've done an excellent job on the paint finish. Creepy Pete
Thanks for the kind words, everybody. It is much appreciated. did you gloss over the BMF in the end cause it looks fab? I did brush some German Klear like product over it, mostly to seal the decals, with some extra shine as an added bonus.
WildeSau75
Very nice build of this "beast". Great paint job. What´s the German Klear like product you used for the finish? Cheers, Michael
Creepy Pete
I used Emsal Boden-Pflege, Voll-Glanz. Bought it at a supermarket in Germany. It comes in a yellow bottle with a blue cap and it says it has orange wax in it. Mario reccomended it a while ago, and it works fine, imo.
