I have seen a small scale resin kit for sale

1/700 Legendary Tanker S.S. Ohio Operation Pedestal by Niko Models https://www.hlj.com/product/nkm07083/Nav . too small a scale for me to atempt but i would love to have a go at a larger one.

It is very similar is size and general shape to the wartime T2 tankers: of which Revell did the J.L. Hanna many years ago and have since re-issued it a number of time with different names. The similarities are enough so to make a conversion possible as far as the superstructure is concerned but I'm not sure about the deck furniture. Nor, for that matter, the shape of the underwater lines, as Revell had a habit of producing flat bottoms.

thanks once again for your help, I've just visited their website & it's currently out of stock. The price they were showing was about £62, I'm new to the world of resin (or any other kind of) ship modelling so have no idea if this is a good price or not, what do you think?

£62 is a normal price for a resin ship kit of that size.
