Don't worry, before last year, I knew nothing of the series either, but somewhere along the line, I developed an interest in the ships and so on. As for trying out lighting - just go ahead and give it a try. There are heaps (and I mean HEAPS) of videos online about how to wire up a simple LED circuit. It doesn't have to be as complex as this one. Once you start it becomes quite addictive. I've had my shares of disappointments but I keep doing it. I'm not sure if it's called determination or stupidity though ....at any rate, most of the credit for the lighting in this build has to go to Warren. It's sitting proudly in the living room on top of the display case right next to the Domelaze. Even the wife likes it!
