Great news about the Sentinal and C-130J,.......there is common sense in the MoD after all!

I wonder what 32 Sqn will receive at Northolt and indeed whether it will remain as an RAF unit or be fully privatised,......I hope the aircrew at least remain RAF (didn`t they also have at least one Matelot too?) and that 32 Sqn remains.

I'm not sure if it is still the case, but you are right - 32 (Royal) Squadron did have at least one FAA pilot on their strength when I last worked with them….I cannot recall if there was a reciprocal arrangement with Heron Flight though ? - I seem to remember the RAF exchange completed instructor duties with the FAA multi-engined training unit but that was a while ago.
