Roger Newsome
My latest project is the Trumpeter 1/35 BTR-60. This is my first Trumpeter kit and I am extremely impressed, what a joy to build. There's not too many pics as I did this when I was at sea working and I was feeling a bit frustrated with the inability to post photo's on the forum due to the wifi system we have on the ship. Having had a bit of a think what I'll do in future is keep a kind of photo diary of the build at work and post them here when I get home. Work is still ongoing with this so more photo's later. At this stage it had only had one thin coat of green which is why the grey primer is showing through.

SaintsPhil
Looking good, I keep fancying to try one of these, quite a bit of scope to try weathering on these russian beasts!
Roger Newsome
Thanks very much. I'd thoroughly recommend it and as you say plenty of scope for weathering. I'm not going to too over the top, no chipping but dusty.
PlaStix
That is looking excellent Roger. I look forward to seeing what you do with the weathering. Tomorrow I'm going to start some weathering on my Mk.5/1 Centurion build over in the Vietnam GB. Good luck with yours!

Roger Newsome
Thanks very much Roger. Work has trailed off on this a bit as I'm now at home and painting figures but I think a final concerted push over the weekend will see it finished. Watch this space.
