cger
Hi all, here are some pictures of my build of a Komatsu bulldozer used by the japanese Navy during WWII. The kit was issued by Tamiya in 1/48 scale a few years ago. I used the hairspray technique to do the chipped paint effect on the hull. I build a small dio base to present the model. The leaves are laser cut paper leaves from Fredericus Rex. The coconut logs for the abandoned bunker are done with wooden sticks coated with Miliput. The bark texture was done by wrapping thread around the fresh Miliput. The dry leaves on the roof of the bunker are some kind of moss from our garden preserved in glycerine. I hope you will like it, Christian.

PlaStix
That is a beautiful and unusual scene, superbly presented. Excellent model! Well done. You could consider putting some photos of it in Britmodeller's diorama section here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/forum/534-ready-for-inspection-dioramas/ I think it would be very well received! Kind regards, Stix Edited November 10, 2015 by PlaStix

Spitfire31
Very neat dio and great weathering on the dozer! The water puddle dots the i, IMO. Now all you need is a couple of figures as the icing on the cake. Great and inventive modelling! Kind regards, Joachim
