Hopefully they are not just taking piccies before cosford lets BOB rot, like the 707.

You mean that British Airways let rot, their airframes ,their resposibility. They were kept at Cosford for BA and were not the RAFMs to look after.

Before speculation and rumour REALLY gets out of hand, do we have any actual, positive, incontrovertible proof that these "German guys" are in fact (1) connected in any way with Revell or any other kit manufacturer and (2) this activity is actually connected with a future kit release? Is this not another case of putting two and two together and getting five? :hmmm:

I don't know, he just said some German guys were all over it with cameras and tape measures, then when I said "Really" sent me that pic.

It's a sign of the times: Airfix outsourcing their 1:72 new projects department to cheap German labour.

Maybe they've subbed the work out to the German guys from Revell that are sat around producing not much?

Ouch, yes, I know, naughty comment...

:hmmm: Until we know something for certain, I suggest all talk of a new VC-10 kit resulting from this event remains a triumph of hope over reality.

ps - better not be 1/144 tiddler scale. Immediate loss of interest! :wicked:
