Procopius Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 I have the AFV Club Scimitar, which I was hoping to do as a Staffordshire Scimitar off the Bison sheet. However, I think I've read that the kit in the box has some dissimilarities to British Army Scimitars -- is this so? What corrections would need to be made or purchased? The AFV Club kit has a later production style engine deck better suited to RAF Regt vehicles (and export vehicles). However, Army Scimitars were more likely to have this style of engine deck than army Scorpions. Therefore I'd suggest you'd be OK for a Staffords Scimitar out of the box, unless you have a specific vehicle in mind and photos of the engine deck on that vehicle Must get mine finished sometime - it's been part-built for about six years, so I suppose a few more won't matter now...
