March Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 If any of you are fans of the incredible machine that is the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, then this new book may not only be of interest, it's probably essential. My copy arrived today, it's an impressive tome. Packed full of high quality images of the aircraft, it's cockpits, engines and sensor/systems bays, the book documents the A-12. M-12, YF-12 and SR-71 projects. The book delivers information on every airframe and where it presides today, details of the pilot selection process, operations, retirement, reactivation...
