The Zakspeed Capri was completely build by my own hands.No use of printing or milling machines.

The Capri was harder to do than the Lancia.

Hi Christian, i ment did you put a build up post for the Capri on here or any other forium, i have one of you Capri's (and resently brought the window set) and was looking for some guidance such as a build up thread would provide

i did not make a complete wip here on the board.

At this time when i start the build i did not know that this board is existing.

Clear coat is done today.
I bought a new airgun which i used for the first time today.
I am very happy with the result.Its such a nice smooth surface.
Much better than with my older guns before.

That's absolutley lovely. Respect for this one as for the old school Capri. Hallo, den Rest schreib ich kurz deutsch. Da Du dich mit 3D Druck auskennst, mal eine kurze Frage: Kann man damit auch Klarsichtteile drucken, die durchsichtig sind? Hab ein paar alte Matchbox und Siku dicast, wo die Scheiben durch sind und ich möchte sie restaurieren. Ich kann Dir auch noch auf modellboard schreiben, bin allerdings hier häufiger, da die Flieger mehr in mein Beuteschema passen. Gruß Benedikt

Time to work a bit on the Lancia again.







The windows are done,but not installed yet.
The grill was made,only did it wrong on the pics.I must turned it around. :roll: :roll:

I want to bring this to an end in the next weeks.
So i will bring some more updates in the future.

After reading carefully the FIA rule book and study all the safety instructions i created the roll cage. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:





Some parts are found in my spare parts box for given some extra detail.
Now i can color all the parts and start with the assembly.

Fantactic work Christain. One of my favourite cars from this ear. I rember building the ESCI but, looooong tiime ago.

Small update on the Beta.
The windows got there black color to get the rubber look.
Interior parts are colored and all scratch parts are made.





Next are the dashboard and than the assembly of all parts.
It's getting to the end now.

Next step was the rear of the car.



Thats how the part from shapeways was look like.



Now with some color and glued to the right place.



Dampers and smaller parts are glued.

Now i need to make the little frame and the air intake pipes.

Hi,today i shpw you the last step in this wip thread.







The windows are in,but when i look at the rear window i dont know if this is what i want?
Maybe a vacuum formed windshield would be better?

The last parts like rivets,screws and the support holders for the mirrors are have to be made this week.
After this i will go on with the Ferrari 512M.

Hello and a good evening,
here is the finished Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo Gr.5 in 1/12 scale.
Its was my first complete in 3D printed model car.
A very big thanks goes to Torsten from http://www.scaleautofactory.com
He makes my wish comes through when he found a racing game with the Lancia and converted it to a printable version.
Big thanks to you Torsten!

The second big thanks goes to Michael from http://www.scalemodeller.de
He did ,as usual,some great personalized decals for me.

As far i know this is the only Lancia Beta in 1/12 scale i ever seen before.
Now some quick pics before i clean it and take some gallery pics in the next days.
