I've been going through my models getting some ready for Telford, and realised I hadn't shared these completed builds with you.

and finally Academy's 1/72nd scale B-29 converted to a Tu-4 'Bull' - or more specifically the Chinese's first attempt at an AWACs aircraft known as the KJ-1. This used the Cutting Edge conversion which provided resin Al-20K turboprop engines and the Type 843 Rotodome radar dish:

These will all be making the trip to the Nationals, and hopefully I'll see a few of you there.

IIrc, I read that once upon a time, some US B-29's ended up landing in the Soviet Union, and the novel airframe design was copied. :) The Russians then made the Tu-4 based on the B-29 design, and eventually that helped them build the Tu-95 Bear.

Great work on each one, all uncommon subjects, the KJ-1 is my personal favourite but they all deserve praise. Pity I'm not going to the Nationals as I'd love to take a closer look at them.
