dylan the rabbit
Age old question I'm sure, but can't find a clear answer. Am about to spray up my BoB era Mk1 Hurricane, and don't know whether to spray the wheel well in aluminium or sky.. Keep finding conflicting pictures. Am leaning more towards aluminium at this stage unless anyone can enlighten me. Cheers, Nick
Vesa Jussila
I would say aluminium, but I think others will correct. Plane in Tikkakoski have aluminium ones.

Troy Smith
Aluminium paint, possibly underside colour later in war. The Finnish plane is the best 'time capsule' but repainting the wells would be a difficult. Also, note, use aluminium paint throughout the internals apart from cockpit walls and bulkhead. see http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234963507-all-the-hurricane-questions-you-want-to-ask-here/page-3#entry1682406
