wavodavo Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) Hello Just finish a fairly quick build (well paint anyway) of the Area88 1/144 Buccaneer which I managed to pick up of eBay. If ever your looking for one it will be misspelled as Buccaner. I bought the Fineline 1/144 Tornado decals and thought that it was odd to have the special 208 Squadron scheme of XN976 as the only kit available is the Welsh Models one. The strange this about this model is that the paint does not set well on it - must be the plastic they used. I left the paint to dry for a week but seems to rub off even when lightly touched. The decals went on well except that the warning triangles for the ejection seats are too big, so I left them off and the wing roundels are far too small but no others are available.
